The male driver of the silver/grey Ford estate car drove off after the girl threatened to scream during the incident at around 5.30am yesterday on Tang Hall Lane in York.

According to police, the car approached the girl as she walked along the road. It is believed the vehicle, which may have been a Mondeo or Focus, drove up and down in the area for several minutes around the time of the incident.
