Man's body discovered at Noddle Hill Nature Reserve in East Yorkshire

The body of a man has been recovered from the water at the Noddle Hill Nature Reserve in East Yorkshire.

The body was spotted by a member of the public visiting the nature reserve in Bransholme, just after 2pm on Monday.

Emergency services were called to the scene and police recovered the body of a man from the water.

He is yet to be identified.

Police are treating the man's death as unexplained.

A Humberside Police spokeswoman said: "At 2.10pm on Monday, February 15, we were called by a member of the public to Noddle Hill Nature Reserve after they had seen what they thought was a body in the water.

"Officers attended and recovered the body of a man from the water.

"The man has not yet been identified and we are looking to establish the circumstances of how he came to be in the water. At this stage of our investigations his death is being treated as unexplained but not thought to be suspicious.

"Anyone with any information can call our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 212 of 15 February 2021."
