Murder and manslaughter rates revealed by police for every area of Yorkshire

New police figures have been released today which show the number of homicides which have been committed in every part of Yorkshire.

The data, released by police forces across the country, show West Yorkshire has the highest homicide rate in Yorkshire, and was joint 5th in England and Wales overall in the 12 months leading up to the end of March 2018.

In North Yorkshire there were six homicides, while 10 homicides were recorded in South Yorkshire and 16 in Humberside.
