Murder hunt after woman found dead in Bradford house

The woman, who was 21, was discovered by officers attending the address in Alford Terrace at about 3.25am today after concerns were raised for her welfare.

Forensic scientists are currently at the scene and a postmortem is expected to take place later on today to establish the exact nature of her injuries and the cause of death.

A police spokesman said: “Neighbourhood Policing Team officers are conducting reassurance patrols and enquiries are ongoing by detectives to both identify the victim and further clarify the circumstances of the incident.”
