Murder investigation in Scunthorpe after death of man, 25

The body found in the Mary Street area in the early hours of Tuesday has been identified as 25–year-old Scunthorpe man Kyle Bell.

A post-mortem examination confirmed that Mr Bell died of stab wounds and a murder investigation is underway. Humberside Police say specialist officers are working with the family.

A spokesman said: "Our teams are working hard to identify the person, or persons, responsible for this crime and are continuing to follow a number of lines of enquiry.

"We are interested to hear from anyone with information that could assist our investigation and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the victim in the days or hours leading up to the incident."
