Murder police continue search for mother, 25

Murder squad detectives are continuing to search for a missing mother-of-three in North Yorkshire.

Rania Alayed, 25, was reported missing from home in Cheetham Hill, Manchester, on July 2, after being last seen in public on June 7. Two men have been charged with her murder.

Greater Manchester Police have been searching a stretch of the A168/A19 near Thirsk.

Yesterday as they searched a northbound lay-by between the A1 and Thirsk, Detective Superintendent Serena Kennedy appealed again to anyone who saw a white camper van which is thought to have stopped at a lay-by the side of the A19 in the early hours of June 8 to come forward.
