North Yorkshire tourist dies in boating accident in the Norfolk Broads
Norfolk Constabulary confirmed that a man aged in his 20s from North Yorkshire, who was on a boating holiday at the time, died in the accident in the River Bure on Tuesday afternoon.
He was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries but did not survive. His identity has not yet been released.
He had been travelling on a hired boat at the time.

Hide AdNo further details regarding the nature of the incident have been released, and a joint police and Marine Accident Investigation Branch investigation has now been opened.
The stretch of river is upstream from Great Yarmouth, and there have been warnings about strong tidal currents.
The Broads are navigable rivers and waterways in low-lying areas of Norfolk that were formed by the flooding of peat workings, and are popular with holidaymakers who can hire a variety of pleasure craft.
