Pedestrian badly hurt in Bradford car crash

A MAN is fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a car in Bradford.

The 46-year-old pedestrian was knocked down by a blue BMW travelling along Westgate towards White Abbey Road at 7.10pm on Sunday, near the junction of Drewton Road.

He was taken to hospital with head injuries and was last night in critical condition. The BMW driver, a 28-year-old man from Bradford, was unhurt.
