Police appeal after woman is attacked by two men in South Yorkshire

Police have released images of two men they are trying to trace in connection with the serious assault of a woman in South Yorkshire.

A spokesperson for the South Yorkshire force said that the 42-year-old was punched in the face and chest, causing serious injuries, and one man swung a knife at her, slashing her coat.

The incident happened at around midday on Friday February 10 outside a property in Dovercourt Road, Masbrough near Rotherham.

Investigating officers are keen to hear from witnesses, or anyone who recognises the two men pictured.
