Police appeal to trace gold necklace left on Bradford train

British Transport Police are appealing for help in tracing a man captured on CCTV leaving Bradford Interchange carrying the gift bag, which contained an Oliver Bonas gold necklace worth over £100.

The bag's owner had been travelling on the 2.48pm Kings Cross to Bradford service when he left the train at Halifax on Friday, 1 January.

PC Andy Jones from British Transport Police said: “The man mistakenly left the gift bag on the train.

“Upon realising it was missing he checked the stations lost property office but to no avail.

“We have viewed CCTV from the station to see who took the bag and have isolated an image of man we believe may be able to help our enquiries. If you know him, please contact us.”
