A 19-year-old, from Barnsley, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice following the incident on the A6201 halfway between Upton and Hemsworth on September 27.
It comes after seven men were arrested earlier today and released on bail.
Terrie Kirby, 16, Alexandra Binns, 18, Ryan Beal, 20, and Brandon Brown, 20, all died following the crash.
The men from the Nissan 350Z sports car involved in the collision, aged 21 and 23, were being held by police on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Three other men, aged 28, 19 and 22, all from the Barnsley area, were also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and conspiracy to pervert course of justice.
A 22-year-old, from Barnsley, and a 19-year-old, from Penistone, have been arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Holmes, of West Yorkshire Police, said: “I would ask anyone who saw the collision, or who saw a bronze coloured Nissan 350Z driven in the Hemsworth area on the evening of 26 September and up to 12.30am on 27 September to come forward.”
