Police hunt man with '˜distinctive walk' after Wakefield burglary

West Yorkshire Police are investigating the incident on Aberford Road, Stanley, near Wakefield, on Wednesday July 13, where suspects broke into a property and stole cash and jewellery before making off.

They have now released video footage of three men they want to speak to in relation to the incident at 12.30pm, one of whom is said to have a distinctive walk.

Detective Constable Nick Horn of Wakefield District CID, said: “Enquiries are ongoing into this incident and we are releasing footage of three men we would like to speak to in connection with the incident.

“One in particular has a distinctive walk and I would like to speak to anyone who can identify him or the other men.

“Anyone who has information should contact Wakefield District CID on 101 referencing crime number 13160299722.

“Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555 111.”
