Police hunt for men after shop worker injured in off licence theft

A group of offenders stole an amount of alcohol from Steers Beers in Burngreave Road, Sheffield, on May 13 at around 1.15pm.

As they were leaving the shop, a man working there challenged them, and followed them out. He was assaulted by three of the group on Cranworth Road, close to the junction of Burngreave Road.

The man suffered a serious injury to his shoulder during the assault and was taken to hospital for treatment. He has since been discharged.

Police have released CCTV images of three men they wish to speak to in connection with the incident.
