Police hunt rapist over attack in Sheffield city centre
Witnesses are being urged to come forward after the attack in the city centre at around 1am on Sunday, November 8.
Officers are working with the victim to establish the exact location of the incident.

Hide AdThe suspect is described as an Asian man, aged in his 40s, short, of a large build with short or shaved hair, a large nose and a round face.
He was reportedly wearing black trousers, a black hooded zip up jacket and a white t-shirt.
Detective Constable Benjamin Wood, the investigating officer, said: “There may have been a number of people returning home from a night out at the time of the incident.
“If they have seen anything that may be linked to this incident I urge them to contact police.

Hide Ad“We are also keen to trace a man who helped the woman get into a taxi at the Barkers Pool taxi rank shortly before 2am.
“He is described as a white man with a bald head and aged in his 40s.
“The victim is currently being supported by specialist officers and I would like to reassure people that we are treating this incident as a priority.
“We have increased patrols in the area and will be reviewing CCTV footage.”
