Police investigate after man approaches young girl in Leeds park

POLICE are investigating after a seven-year-old girl was approached by a man in a Leeds park.

The young girl was playing with a dog on a patch of grass on Old Road, Churwell in Morley at around 6.45pm on Wednesday, August 28.

The man was driving a black hatchback car and was wearing a vest and is described as white, aged in his twenties, with short cropped brown hair.

There have been no further confirmed reports of any other similar incidents in the area and the girl was unharmed.

Neighbourhood Policing Team officers are patrolling the area and speaking to local residents about any concerns.
