Police investigate racist incident near school in Todmorden

Police are investigating a report of a racist incident involving two women remark near a school in Todmorden.

The incident near Castle Hill Primary School on Halifax Road took place at around 8.45am on Wednesday, September 23.

A woman dealing with a child who had fallen made a remark towards another woman as she walked past.

PC Frances Combes, of Calderdale Neighbourhood Investigation Unit, said: “This incident happened around the time when pupils were being dropped off at the nearby school.

“We are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and saw what happened.”
