Police investigating racist abuse of Victoria Centre security guard

A shopper was thrown out of the Victoria Centre after racially abusing one of the security guards working there.

The security guard was working by the entrance of WH Smith's in the Victoria Centre when he was racially abused by the shopper.

The shopper was eventually ejected by the security guard out on to the entrance of WH Smith's, leading out on to Cambridge Street.

Police are now investigating the incident which took place on Friday, March 11, between 4.30pm and 4.45pm.

Officers are appealing for anyone who was present at the time of the incident to come forward with any information about what they saw or heard.
