Police make new appeal for information about a fire in East Yorkshire.

Police have made a fresh appeal for information and released new details of witnesses they are trying to trace in a suspected arson investigation.

On the evening of Saturday February 25 a fire broke out in a fishing compound near Holderness between 7.30pm and 8.30pm causing around £200, 000 of damage.

Humberside Police have been investigating the incident on Seaside Road, Easington and are particularly keen to hear from the occupants of a small hatchback car which was seen outside the compound.

Officers would also like to identify a jogger that was seen running past the site around the same time. This person is described as wearing a black top with reflective stripes, a black beanie hat and a head torch.
