Police name woman found dead in Hull hotel room
POLICE have released an image of a woman found dead in a hotel in Hull city centre.
Christina Randell, 51, from Hull, was discovered in a room at the Ibis Hotel, Osborne Street, on Sunday afternoon.
Reports suggest a knife was found in the room and police are questioning a 51-year-old man from York, who was arrested on Sunday evening, on suspicion of murder. Ms Randell’s family is being supported by specially-trained officers.
A warrant for further extension was granted earlier today at Hull Magistrates Court, which will allow the police to keep the man in custody for a further 30 hours.
