Police probe after two women found dead in Bradford

POLICE in West Yorkshire were today investigating the deaths of two women found at nearby houses on Sunday afternoon.

Paramedics and police were called to two address in Lower Grange, Bradford and found two women aged 38 and 51. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives say the women knew each other but were not related. Their deaths are not being linked.

Both deaths are being treated as “unexplained” following post mortems.

A police spokesman said: “Cause of death at this stage has not been established and further toxicology tests will take place.

“Both addresses have been subject to extensive searches. Local officers have been present in the area today reassuring the community.”

Two local men aged 31 and 45 have been arrested and released on police bail.
