Police searching for missing man find body

Police searching for a missing Grimsby man have found a body at Spurn Point.

Humberside Police said the body of a man was washed up on Spurn Point just after 5pm on Sunday.

The family of missing 21-year-old Liam Pullen have been informed.

Mr Pullen was left seen at 8pm on Friday leaving a friend’s house in Cleethorpes.

His parents reported him missing at 3am on Saturday, extremely concerned.

Police has said they were treating the case as a “matter of urgency”, and that it was believed Mr Pullen had left his friend’s address after a misunderstanding and without any shoes.
