Police want to trace speeding biker who removed number plate on the A64

A biker seen travelling at high speed on the A64 on Saturday removed their number plate when they spotted police.

The motorcyclist passed through Sherburn between 10.45-11am heading towards Scarborough.

The rider, whose bike was red, removed the number plate after noticing a police presence and continued to travel at high speed

Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have dashcam footage to come forward.
