£65,000 question after chocolate theft in town

CHOCOLATE stolen from a business near Harrogate earlier this month was worth £65,000, police have revealed.

The chocolates were stolen between 2pm on November 1 and 6.30am on November 2 from a business on Hornbeam Park.

North Yorkshire Police say the thieves stole items including chocolate Honeycomb Nuggets, All Butter Fudge, Salt Water Chocolate, Truffle Fudge, New Ultimate Collection Butter 4% Fudge and New Ultimate Collection Coconut Ice.

Pc Quita Passmore, of Harrogate Priority Crime Team, said: “If you have been offered any chocolates matching description of the ones which were stolen in unusual circumstances, I urge you to come forward and contact the police straight away.”
