Ring stolen from Skipton jeweller

An opportunist thief is being sought in North Yorkshire after stealing a ring from the counter of a jeweller seconds after it had been tried on.

The offender snatched the white gold ring from the shop counter immediately after it had been tried on by a genuine customer and now police have released CCTV images to ask for the public's help in identifying the suspect.

It happened at Fusion Jewellers in Craven Court on the High Street at around 11am on Tuesday.
