Rotherham man arrested on suspicion of murder

The suspect was arrested yesterday evening in connection with the death of a 38-year-old man, who was allegedly assaulted at his home in Littlehey Close, Maltby, at around 1am on Friday October 30.

The assault victim was still in hospital receiving treatment when he collapsed and died on Wednesday. (November 4)

South Yorkshire Police said detectives continue to investigate the man's death and a number of forensic enquiries are being conducted.
