The fire service have released shocking new photos of a huge lorry fire which closed the M62.

It happened on Monday, August 10 between J22 and J21.

The carriageway was closed for several hours.

"Yesterday we worked with Manchester Fire Service to tackle this lorry fire on the M62.

"Six engines from the two areas attended, including our crews from Rastrick."
