Skipton: Haul of power tools taken in garage break-in

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a garage burglary that occurred in Skipton.

It happened on Hayton Way, Skipton between 4.30pm on Wednesday and 8.15am yesterday.

Police say the suspects forced entry into a single garage stealing a large amount of power tools and equipment.

North Yorkshire Police said: “We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public’s assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

“In particular, we are appealing for information about a suspicious orange-coloured transit type van that was seen in the area at 4.45pm on Wednesday 15 of February 2017.”
