Student, 19, '˜sexually assaulted' in Sheffield street by hooded man
A student was the victim of a sex attack in Sheffield in the early hours of today.
The 19-year-old woman was outside a property in Westbourne Road, around 3am, when she was approached from behind and sexually assaulted.
Her attacker - described as 18 to 20 and wearing a dark hoodie with the hood up and dark trousers - then ran off.
South Yorkshire Police said patrols would be stepped up and they were working closely with the University “to provide reassurance.”
Police are appealing for witnesses.
