Teen clubber’s teeth knocked out in “vicious” attack at Leeds bar

A teenage reveller had his teeth knocked out during a “vicious and unprovoked” attack in a Leeds bar.

British Transport Police (BTP) are appealing for information after the incident at the Stone Roses bar, off Lower Briggate, in the city centre.

The victim, a 19-year-old from Bradford, was on the dancefloor when he was punched by a stranger in the early hours of August 25.

Det Con Jason Ridgway said: “Two of the victim’s front teeth were knocked out during the assault.

“Door staff quickly ejected the attacker, who was with a female at the time.

“The victim was looked after by the bar’s staff, before being taken to hospital for treatment. He has sustained severe damage to his front teeth and gums, which will require ongoing dental work.

“This was a violent, vicious and unprovoked attack which has left the victim with serious facial injuries.”
