Teenager charged with Batley murder set for trial in December with three other defendants

A 17-year-old male charged with the murder of Bradley Gledhill will appear at Leeds Crown Court for trial on December 7.

The defendant, 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Leeds Magistrate Court on Saturday charged with the murder of 20-year-old Mr Gledhill, who was stabbed during a fight on Park Croft, Batley, at around 10.30pm on June 21.

The defendant appeared at Leeds Crown Court for a pre-trial hearing today.

Usman Karolia, 19, of Lime Tree Avenue, Batley, Ahmed Karolia, 23, of Lime Tree Avenue, Batley and Raja Nawaz, 18, of Longfield Road, Heckmondwike, appeared at Leeds Crown Court on Friday over the death of Mr Gledhill.
