It comes after a 17-year-old girl collapsed outside the George Hotel in Market Place, Easingwold in the early hours of Saturday, February 11.

The girl was taken to hospital in a serious condition, but is now stable.

In a series of tweets, officers issued an update, saying: “After an investigation into drugs in the Easingwold area, we have now arrested and charged three locals with drug supply offences.”

It added: “The Easingwold drugs investigations follow an incident where a teenage girl was found collapsed in the marketplace last month.”
