Three drug farms found in one morning by police in West Yorkshire

West Yorkshire Police officers found three drug farms in just one morning over the bank holiday weekend.

Officers from the Bradford East team went to three different properties on the morning of Sunday, may 10.

They seized Class B drugs from a home in Thorpe Edge, near Apperley Bridge.

They then found a cannabis farm in Idle.

Later they went to a home in Swain House, near Five Lane Ends, and found another cannabis farm.

All the plants have been seized.

A spokesman from the Bradford East team said: "It's been a busy morning for East NPT....

"Attended at an address in Thorpe Edge and located some Class B drugs which were seized.

"Attended at an address in Idle and located a cannabis farm.

"Drugs seized and suspect dealt with.

"Attended at an address in Swain House and located another cannabis farm.

"The plants have been seized and suspect to be dealt with.

"The electricity had been by-passed causing it to be a fire risk."
