Three men taken to hospital after crash on A19 near Staddle Bridge in Northallerton

Three men have been taken to hospital following a crash on the A19 near Staddle Bridge in Northallerton which closed the road for several hours.

The crash, involving a white Toyota Hilux, a yellow Daily Iveco and a silver Nissan Juke, happened just before 4am on Thursday.

The occupants of the Toyota Hilux and the Daily Iveco were uninjured.

The occupants of the Nissan Juke, all men aged 21, 26 and 31, were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The road was closed while emergency services worked at the scene and it re-opened shortly after 8.30am.

Police are now appealing for anyone who saw the crash or who was driving in the area at the time and has dashcam footage to call them on 101 quoting reference number 12210170280.
