Toddler who died in tipper truck collision in Shipley named

A toddler who died after being hit by a tipper truck in Bradford has been named by police.

Two-year-old Isaac Brocklehurst was knocked down by the white Scania vehicle in Valley Road, Shipley,at about 1.10pm last Tuesday.

West Yorkshire Police, who say he is believed to have walked into the carriageway between parked vehicles, are appealing for witnesses.

Sergeant Ann Drury of the Major Collision Enquiry Team said; "This was a terrible incident which resulted in the death of Issac at such a tragically young age.

"His family have been left devastated by the incident and we continue to appeal for witnesses as we investigate the circumstances of the collision.

"Anyone who saw the incident, or either Issac or the Tipper truck involved just beforehand, is asked to call the Major Collision and Enquiry Team (MCET) via 101."
