Two people were arrested after a man died in an unexplained incident in Boston Spa

Police were told by Yorkshire Ambulance Service about the death of a 67-year-old man at an address in Church Street in the village.

It happened at 2.13am on Friday, December 18.

West Yorkshire Police detectives are treating the death as unexplained and are carrying out enquiries to find out what happened.

Two people, a woman, aged 38, and a man, aged 44, were arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and have been released under investigation.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "At 2.13am on Friday, December 18, police were notified by the ambulance service of the death of a 67-year-old man at an address in Church Street, Boston Spa.

"His death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are being carried out to establish the circumstances.

"A 38-year-old woman and a 44-year-old man were arrested on suspicion of drugs supply and have been released under investigation."
