Two held for murder after man found dead in Scunthorpe

POLICE are investigating the suspicious death of a 44 year-old man whose body was found at a house in Scunthorpe on the weekend.

Two men, aged 25 and 26, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.

Police were alerted by a call receiving a call from a member of the public, concerned about the safety of the man, on Saturday evening.

When officers attended the address at Pryme Road they found the man dead. The area around the property has been cordoned off.

Enquiries are continuing to identify the circumstances. Witnesses are asked to call 0845 6060222.
