Two held for murder over man found stabbed at Hull house

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of murdering 51-year-old Keith Opray who was found dead at his home in Hull with multiple stab wounds.

The pair, 39 and 40, are currently in police custody after being arrested overnight.

Cordons are in place at Stroud Crescent East and St Ives Close as part of ongoing murder inquries, with a cordon remaining outside Mr Opray’s home address in Wareham Close where his body was discovered on Saturday.Ssenior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Matt Hutchinson said: “We are still continuing to investigate the circumstances that led to the tragic murder of Keith Opray and we are supporting his family and keeping them informed of any developments in the investigation.

“To date the public response for information has been very positive but we still need more help, with any information no matter how big or small that could assist enquiries.”

A 44-year-old man initially arrested in connection with the investigation has been released on bail pending further inquiries.
