Two men wanted by police for theft of jackets in York

CCTV images have been issued as part of a bid to trace two men wanted in connection with the thefts of leather jackets worth more than £2000.

Police in North Yorkshire say that at around 2pm last Saturday two men went into Robert Smart Menswear store on Low Petergate, York and distracted the shop assistant before leaving with the jackets and making no attempt to pay for them.

If you recognise them call North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Dan Gaunt or York Police.
