Two swans with five eggs shot and killed in Leeds lake

Two swans have been shot and killed on a lake in Leeds, police said.

The swans were killed on a lake on Pontefract Lane, West Yorkshire Police - Wildlife & Rural Crime said.

They had five eggs according to police.

Anyone with any information about who may be responsible should call 101 or email the team.
