Wanted: Hull police are looking for this man after attempted robbery and assault

Police investigating an attempted robbery and assault in Hull have released an e-fit image of the man they want to trace.

Nothing was stolen during the incident on June 14 but Humberside Police today said that the victim had been injured.

Issuing the e-fit image, a spokesman said: "We want to find this man in connection with an attempted assault and robbery in Hull.

"A man sustained injuries to his hand. Nothing was stolen during the incident."

It happened on a cycle path running between Chamberlain Road and Stoneferry Road around 2pm that day.
