Woman barred from two stores over assaults

A WOMAN has been barred from shopping in two Leeds stores for two years after she assaulted the managers at both outlets.

Ingrid Collins, 52, of Cross Roundhay Avenue, Chapeltown, Leeds, was also given a nine-month prison sentenced suspended for the same period at Leeds Crown Court yesterday with supervision and ordered to attend the Together Women Project after she admitted theft, common assault and an actual bodily harm assault.

The court heard Collins bit the arm and thumb of the manager at Aldi in Meanwood, when he stopped her for theft while she was already on bail for an earlier incident assaulting the manager in Farm Foods, Roundhay.
