Wombwell High Street sealed off after man attacked outside pub
A MAN is in hospital with serious head injuries after an attack outside a pub in South Yorkshire last night.
Wombwell High Street is closed off this morning with a white tent over the spot where the victim was found injured.
Police officers are guarding the scene.
A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said the victim, a man in his 40s, is in the Royal Hallamshire Hospital.
Police added there was no estimate for a reopening of the high street.
