Detective Inspector Damian Roebuck, of the Bradford District Crime Team, said: “We are pleased with the sentence which was handed to Poppleton for the burglary offences committed this year.

“These offences caused considerable distress to his victims

“Poppleton is a prolific offender and also tried to evade police following on from the burglaries he committed.

"I hope this sentence reassured local residents in Bradford that we do all we can to track down and bring perpetrators to justice.”
