Yorkshire police worker in court over death of 82-year-old mother
A POLICE support worker from West Yorkshire has appeared in court charged with the manslaughter of her 82-year-old mother.
West Yorkshire Police employee Angela Pearson, 52, is accused of gross negligence in connection with the death of Eileen Pearson, from Fairway, Guiseley, on May 10.
Pearson, of Ghyll Royd, Guiseley, spoke only to confirm her name, date of birth and address at the brief hearing at Manchester Magistrates’ Court.
She was granted unconditional bail to appear next at Manchester Crown Court on December 5.
