Young children cut from car crash while second vehicle flees in West Yorkshire.
Three young children and a woman were freed from the wreckage of a car crash by fire crews while the other vehicle fled the scene.
The children, aged between five and 11, were taken to hospital for precautionary check ups while the woman suffered what is thought to be a broken leg.
It happened at around 9.10pm last night (Friday) near The Hop Pub on Bingley Road at Saltaire and part of the road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident.
A police spokesperson said it was a two car incident but one vehicle fled the scene.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact them on 101 using reference number 1755
