Cross-Europe skateboarders to aid charity

Three fundraisers are in training for a 3,000km skateboard challenge across Europe in honour of a friend who almost died from meningitis.

Long distance skaters Rob Hanson, 22, Zoltan Nagy, 32, and Ben Hall, 22, will start their endurance trip in Trondheim, Norway, on July 27 and hope to cover the 3,000km (1,800 miles) in seven weeks, finishing in Prague, Czech Republic.

They are raising money for the Meningitis Trust after one of their skating friends nearly died from the infection last year.
