Crucible run for ex-EastEnders star
Former EastEnders actor Nigel Harman, and fellow cast member John Light rehearse a scene from True West, which runs at Sheffield's Crucible Theatre until Saturday, June 5.
The play, described as a "darkly funny story of sibling rivalry and Hollywood hypocrisy", tells the story of Austin, a screenwriter on the verge of his big break. Lee is his brother, a small-time crook more familiar with the desert than Hollywood.
Trouble arises when a film producer prefers Lee's experience to Austin's script – forcing the brothers to battle for their own True West. The cast also includes Abigail Mckern and John Schwab.
