Customised BMX bikes worth up to £2,000 each stolen from garden in Richmond

TWO HIGH-VALUE customised BMX bikes have been stolen from a garden in North Yorkshire.

The distinctive bikes were each worth between £1,000 and £2,000.

They were stolen from a garden in Coronation Place, Richmond, between 8pm and 9.30pm on Thursday.

One bike is purple and the other is silver and covered in stickers.

A spokesperson for North Yorkshire Police said: "Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for James Bowie.
