Cyclist seriously injured in collision with car in Keighley
POLICE Â are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision which left a cyclist with serious injuries.
The 49-year-old man was riding along the A629 Halifax Road in Keighley just before 2pm on New Year's Eve , when he was in collision with a Vauxhall Corsa close to the junction with Apple Street.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries which are not believed to be life threatening.
His condition is said to be stable.
Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or either vehicle travelling along Halifax Road to contact them on 101, quoting log 786 of December 31.
