Dales roads to close at night for pipe work

The closures are part of a project by Yorkshire Water to lay a
new pipe between Buckden in Upper Wharfedale and the water treatment works at Oughter-
shaw.

A series of night closures will take place from 10pm and 6am.

These will be in place between Hubberholme and Raisgill each night from Monday next week, from Beckermonds to Oughtershaw from April 15-19, and from Deepdale Bridge to Beckermonds from April 22 to May 31.

Project manager Ross Housley said: “We’re hoping that by working at night we minimise disruption to residents and road users like commuters, farmers getting stock to market, tourists and holidaymakers.”
